Job Summary

This role is an exciting opportunity for a Technical Sales Manager to transition customers into long-term partners by providing expert technical consultation and sales support for electronic components. Operating within the Reutlingen, Tuttlingen, and Villingen-Schwenningen region, you will be responsible for understanding complex customer needs, presenting the portfolio of passive components, and developing perfect technical solutions. Day-to-day activities involve new customer acquisition, managing existing client relationships, providing expert design-in consultation, preparing offers, and independently managing pricing and project closure. The ideal candidate possesses a degree in Engineering/Electrical Engineering or a technical certification, coupled with strong enthusiasm for sales, entrepreneurial acumen, and excellent communication skills in both German and English. This position offers a mix of customer visits (approximately three days a week) and home office work, along with an unlimited contract and comprehensive training.

Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Engineering/Electrical Engineering or certified technician (Staatlich geprüfter Techniker) in Electrical Engineering, Communications Technology, or Transportation Technology

Experience

  • Professional experience in sales or technical consulting is implied by the role's focus on customer acquisition and management
  • Experience in managing a sales territory (Reutlingen, Tuttlingen, Villingen-Schwenningen)
  • Ability to manage projects from consultation through contract closure
