Job Summary

This role is perfect for a technically trained professional who thrives in a solution-oriented, team-based environment, supporting the maintenance and optimization of NEG® wind turbines. As a Technician for Electrical Components, you will be the primary technical support contact for field service technicians, providing assistance nationally and internationally via phone. Key responsibilities include developing and documenting repair processes for electronic components, coordinating material requirements with purchasing, and evaluating service reports from both technical and commercial perspectives. You will also be instrumental in developing product improvements and problem solutions to enhance the performance of the wind energy systems. The ideal candidate holds a qualification as an Electrician or Mechatronics Technician, ideally supplemented by further training as a certified Technician, and possesses strong communication skills in both German and English.

Required Skills

Education

Completed training as an Electrician or Mechatronics Technician; further qualification as a certified Technician (State-certified Techniker) is beneficial.

Experience

  • Professional experience as a Service Technician or in technical support for NEG® wind turbines (ideally)
  • Experience in developing, planning, and documenting repairs on electronic components
  • Experience in controlling and evaluating technical and commercial reports
