Job Summary

This leadership role involves heading the Planning & Architecture department within the Technology Management division of Munich's largest municipal healthcare provider. The incumbent will be responsible for defining and implementing a forward-looking digital strategy encompassing areas like Cloud, AI, Telemedicine, and Digital Health. Key day-to-day activities include leading the department, managing project and financial management, and defining architecture blueprints and transformation roadmaps for clinical application landscapes (KIS, PACS/RIS, LIS, PDMS). A critical focus is ensuring interoperability by developing and implementing standards such as HL7, FHIR, DICOM, and IHE. The ideal candidate possesses a Master's degree in (Business) Informatics, extensive experience in software architecture and project steering, and proven leadership capabilities, ideally within complex hospital IT environments. This position offers the chance to drive digital transformation in a critical healthcare setting in Munich.
