Job Summary

This full-time position as an Environmental Engineer within the Sustainability Office of München Klinik involves supporting the organization's commitment to continuous environmental improvement across all hospital locations. The successful candidate will be instrumental in maintaining the EMAS management system, conducting internal audits, and ensuring compliance with increasing legal requirements, particularly concerning climate accounting. Daily tasks include collecting and processing data for climate balance sheets, preparing internal audit reports, updating training materials and e-learnings, and taking technical responsibility for the annual Sustainability Report and Environmental Statement. This role requires a university degree in environmental or natural sciences, strong knowledge of environmental management standards, and practical experience in interdisciplinary communication, ideally within the healthcare sector, focusing on integrating ecological and economic aspects into work processes.

Education

University Degree (B.Sc.) in Environmental, Engineering, or Natural Sciences with a focus on Environmental Technology and Management

Experience

  • Practical experience in implementing standard requirements (e.g., EMAS)

  • Professional experience with relevant environmental standards and legal frameworks
