Job Summary

This role is critical for accelerating Germany's energy transition, specifically focusing on the expansion of wind energy in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern while ensuring high-quality environmental protection assessments. The Specialist Officer will manage and update the wind energy cadaster for the region, review and evaluate complex forecasts and measurement reports (noise, shadow flicker, light) to ensure compliance with public law requirements, particularly TA Lärm. Key tasks involve modeling permit applications for wind turbines using GIS and specialized acoustic software, and providing expert training to local environmental protection authorities. This position requires a technical or environmental science degree and proven professional experience in immission control, offering a chance to contribute directly to climate protection goals within a secure public sector environment.

Required Skills

Education

University degree (FH Diploma, Bachelor) in a technical-natural science or ecological-environmental law field, such as Engineering Acoustics, Environmental Sciences, Mechanical Engineering, Physics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Geomatics.

Experience
