Job Summary
The City of Erkner is seeking a full-time, permanent IT Administrator to manage and maintain the municipal IT infrastructure. This role is central to ensuring the smooth operation of all city IT systems, including Microsoft Client and Server operating systems, network infrastructure, and specialized applications. Key responsibilities involve performing administration tasks such as managing software distribution, patches, updates, security systems (anti-virus, malware, spam), user accounts, and access rights. The administrator will also provide First- and Second-Level Support, advise staff and committee members, and coordinate external IT service providers and vendors. The ideal candidate must possess a completed qualification as an IT Specialist for System Integration or equivalent, coupled with solid expertise in Microsoft environments, networking, and security management.
