Job Summary

This role is ideal for an Environmental Engineer or Geoscientist specializing in contaminated sites, environmental incidents, and hydrochemistry. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning, executing, and evaluating exploration measures, alongside the professional assessment of contaminated sites and damage events. The successful candidate will work in interdisciplinary teams to develop creative and practical solutions for diverse and challenging tasks. Key requirements include a degree in Environmental Engineering, Geoecology, Geology, or Geosciences, coupled with several years of professional experience in the assessment and remediation of contaminated sites. Proficiency in MS Office and specialized hydrochemical analysis/modeling software is essential. Fluency in German (C1 level) is mandatory for drafting technical reports and communicating effectively with clients and authorities.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in the exploration, assessment, and remediation of contaminated sites and damage incidents
  • Experience in the planning and operation of water treatment or soil vapor extraction systems (Ideal)

Additional

  • Mandatory very good German language skills (minimum C1 level) for drafting technical reports and communications.
