Job Summary

This role is ideal for an Engineer specializing in Hydraulic Engineering or Environmental Engineering, focusing primarily on flood protection projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning the construction and rehabilitation of technical flood protection systems and dikes. A significant part of the job involves river restoration and ensuring aquatic continuity. The scope of work covers all project phases, from initial concept development through to on-site construction supervision. Day-to-day activities include extensive coordination with regulatory authorities, clients, and other project stakeholders. Key requirements include a relevant university degree, fundamental knowledge of hydrology, hydraulics, geotechnical engineering, and solid construction, coupled with strong German language skills and a collaborative, solution-oriented approach.
