Job Summary

This role is a four-year, part-time PhD Candidate position within the DFG-funded Research Training Group (RTG) 3095 at the Universitätsklinikum Schleswig-Holstein, focusing on protective and pathogenic antibody responses at immunological barrier organs. The successful candidate will conduct a doctoral research project (P01) investigating the mechanisms by which individual IgE and IgG1 clones drive murine food allergy. Day-to-day responsibilities include executing experimental research, analyzing and interpreting complex high-throughput datasets, such as scRNA-seq, and actively engaging in the RTG’s structured scientific training program, including presenting research findings. Applicants must hold a Master’s degree in Life Sciences and possess an excellent command of English. Prior experience with mouse models, flow cytometry, and molecular biology techniques is essential.
