Job Summary

This role is for a Doctoral Researcher (PhD Candidate) to join the DFG-funded Research Training Group (RTG 3095) at the University of Lübeck, focusing on the Institute of Nutritional Medicine. The core responsibility involves conducting a four-year research project (P08) dedicated to deciphering the mechanisms behind dysregulated B-cell function in Crohn’s disease pathogenesis. The researcher will utilize advanced molecular and immunological techniques, including flow cytometry, and will be motivated to apply bioinformatics approaches, such as R, for analyzing high-throughput datasets like scRNA-seq. Candidates must hold a Master’s degree in Life Sciences and possess excellent command of English. This position offers a highly stimulating research environment with access to cutting-edge technologies like single-cell sequencing and spatial transcriptomics, integrated within a structured qualification program designed for comprehensive scientific training.

Required Skills

Education
