Job Summary

This role is for an IT Integration System Engineer responsible for the planning, setup, and commissioning of diverse IT hardware and software components, primarily focusing on extensive lab and test environments. Key daily tasks involve building, maintaining, and expanding these environments, which utilize both Windows and Linux systems, including servers, clients, virtual machines, and complex network structures. A significant part of the job includes developing concepts for manual and automated installation and configuration of distributed simulation environments, particularly for isolated ("air-gapped") systems. The successful candidate will also be involved in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines, automating build and deployment processes using scripts and tools, and performing system tests and error analysis. This position requires a creative, solution-oriented, and self-reliant approach, working closely within an agile team alongside colleagues from System Engineering, Software Development, Test, and DevOps.
