This role involves complex installation, testing, and maintenance work on passive data networks, primarily within a data center environment in Munich. Key daily tasks include assembling and upgrading server racks, laying and quality-checking fiber optic and copper cables, and systematically troubleshooting line connection disturbances. You will be responsible for creating detailed measurement protocols and technical documentation following inspections and fault analysis. The ideal candidate holds vocational training as an Electrician or Communication Technician, ideally bringing professional experience in assembly, switching work, and fiber optic systems.
