Job Summary

This role involves acting as a System Engineer and technical lead for the external instrumentation of neutron flux measurement systems, requiring strong interdisciplinary collaboration across mechanical and electrical engineering teams. Key responsibilities include managing requirements using tools like Cradle, technically leading a small team of engineers, and coordinating work packages between internal and external units. A core focus is on standardizing and executing accuracy analyses for Excore instrumentation using scientific software such as MATLAB, and designing nuclear measurement technology for both existing and new plant projects. The ideal candidate possesses a degree in Physics or a related field, expertise in neutron flux measurement and automation, and proficiency in applying international nuclear standards (e.g., RCC-E, IEC). Fluency in both German and English is mandatory for success in this highly specialized, regulatory-driven environment.

Required Skills

Education

Degree in Physics or equivalent, Specialized knowledge in Neutron Flux Measurement Technology, Automation Technology, and Signal Processing

Experience

  • Professional experience in international small and large-scale projects
  • Experience in creating scientific accuracy analyses and EMC analyses
  • Experience in handling international standards (e.g., EN, IEC) and nuclear regulations (e.g., RCC-E, KTA)
