This role seeks a specialized CFD Simulation Engineer to enhance vehicle cooling performance through advanced thermal conditioning simulations. Key responsibilities include preparing calculation-ready CFD meshes from CAD data for 1D simulation, utilizing tools like GT Suite (GEM3D), and optimizing component assemblies based on simulation and test outcomes to maximize the efficiency and longevity of the cooling system. The engineer will act as a crucial link, coordinating results and requirements across simulation, testing, and design teams. Ideal candidates possess a university degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Energy Engineering, coupled with deep knowledge of thermodynamic processes and hands-on experience in 1D-CFD simulation, particularly within the context of electrified powertrain components and Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) cooling systems. Required Skills
