Job Summary
This role seeks a Senior IT Security Coordinator to act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for IT security governance within Artificial Intelligence (AI) projects across the BWI, the primary digitalization partner for the German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr). The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding and supporting technical departments on IT security governance in AI initiatives. Key responsibilities include deriving AI compliance requirements from legal and regulatory changes, advising on compliance approaches, and ensuring governance components are secured within programs and projects. This position requires approximately six years of relevant professional experience in information security, strong knowledge of IT Security and modernized BSI IT-Grundschutz, and expertise specifically in Artificial Intelligence. This is a crucial role contributing to the secure and stable IT infrastructure of one of Germany's most complex IT environments.

Completed university degree with an IT focus or comparable qualification
Experience
- Approximately 6 years of relevant professional experience within information security
- Experience in Artificial Intelligence (AI)
- Experience in IT Security Governance and coordination of security requirements in projects
- Project experience (advantageous)
