This part-time (50%) Research Associate position at Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg focuses on investigating correlated disorder as a design principle for broadband and angle-robust nanophotonic metasurfaces within the Institute of Physics and the Interdisciplinary Center for Materials Science. Day-to-day tasks involve designing and fabricating disordered nanostructures, utilizing techniques like electron beam lithography, conducting microstructural and optical characterization, and performing accompanying numerical simulations. The role also includes scientific exchange, publishing results, and contributing to teaching activities.
