Job Summary

This permanent position as a PLC Programmer, based in Mannheim, offers the opportunity to drive the full product development lifecycle, from initial concept through to series production. The core responsibilities involve developing intricate software concepts and modules for advanced palletizing and robotic systems, requiring close collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. A key component of the role is project leadership, encompassing the planning, execution, control, and documentation of technical development projects. Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree or Technician qualification in a relevant engineering field and demonstrate profound experience in PLC programming, particularly using the Siemens TIA Portal. Familiarity with Safety Integrated, Rockwell Studio, and automation systems like KUKA and Siemens is highly beneficial. You will also be responsible for designing technical functions considering mechatronic, mechanical, electrical, and software requirements, and supporting on-site assembly and commissioning.
