This role seeks an experienced ICT Procurement Specialist to join the Federal Police Presidency in Potsdam, contributing directly to Germany's security infrastructure by managing critical procurement processes for Information and Communication Technology (ICT). Day-to-day responsibilities involve advising internal stakeholders on technical needs, drafting detailed performance specifications, reviewing technical requirement catalogs, and executing the full procurement lifecycle. The specialist will also lead discussions with contractors concerning concept approval, technical acceptance, and warranty claims, acting as the primary liaison with central federal procurement offices, including the BMI Procurement Office. Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent technical administrative qualification) in relevant fields such as Computer Science, Telecommunications, or Industrial Engineering, coupled with a minimum of 18 months of relevant professional experience.
