Job Summary

This role involves the planning, execution, and administration of operating system and software deployment processes within the Thuringian State Office for Finance in Erfurt. The administrator will be responsible for managing and operating necessary server and client systems, maintaining deployment software, and coordinating release changes with various software vendors. Key daily tasks include creating custom software packages and OS images using an Image Prepare System, administering certified data deletion software, and ensuring data deletion complies with privacy regulations. Candidates must possess a degree in Informatics or a related field, or equivalent experience, coupled with strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server systems, Active Directory, and scripting languages.
