Job Summary

This role offers an opportunity to join Roche Diagnostics GmbH in Mannheim, focusing on product safety and environmental health and safety (EHS) data management. The specialist will be responsible for data management and master data maintenance within SAP EH&S(M), performing chemical regulatory assessments for substances, mixtures, and articles as part of the end-to-end Material Declaration process. Key responsibilities include continuous development of the EHS data management architecture, acting as a Key-User for EH&S tools, and ensuring data conformity, quality, and integrity. A crucial part of the job involves serving as the first level support for local and global functions regarding the implementation of chemical and environmental regulations. The ideal candidate possesses a degree in natural sciences, engineering, or information science, coupled with extensive professional experience in product safety, hazard communication, and strong knowledge of global chemical regulations (e.g., REACh, GHS/CLP). Affinity for handling large datasets and excellent English skills are essential.
