This Senior Manager role involves co-leading Bayer’s global and German transfer pricing controversy strategy, ensuring alignment across various jurisdictions and business units. The core focus includes managing and supporting international tax audits, providing strategic input, and facilitating Mutual Agreement Procedures (MAP) and Advance Pricing Agreements (APA), including negotiation strategy and documentation. Key responsibilities also encompass developing and implementing data analytics and visualization solutions (using tools like PowerBI and Tableau) to support controversy cases and strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate is an experienced tax specialist with a strong understanding of international and German transfer pricing regulations, capable of leading complex, cross-border tax projects, coaching junior staff, and representing the company in external forums and with tax authorities. This position requires fluency in both English and German and offers the chance to embed controversy readiness into business model design and tax governance.

Required Skills

Education

University degree (or applied sciences degree) in Economics, Business Administration, Tax, or Law. Preferred: Certified German Tax Advisor (StB), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), or equivalent.
