Job Summary

This senior leadership role requires an expert IT professional to simultaneously manage and optimize Austrian IT operations while driving critical integration into the Lufthansa Group (LHG) IT framework. Day-to-day responsibilities involve designing, implementing, and optimizing local IT processes, managing the application portfolio, and developing comprehensive IT strategy, including cybersecurity measures. A significant focus is placed on implementing global IT service strategies, aligning initiatives with corporate goals, and enforcing governance and policies across the organization. The successful candidate will lead digitalization initiatives, manage complex IT projects, and oversee infrastructure transitions using strong change management skills. This position demands a strategic, process-oriented leader with 10+ years of IT experience, including 5+ years in management, and the ability to communicate persuasively across all organizational levels.
