Job Summary

This role is ideal for a qualified electrician seeking a permanent position focused on critical railway infrastructure maintenance and safety technology. As a Railway Signal Technician, you will be responsible for the inspection, adjustment, and functional control of vital systems, including signal circuits, point drives, and track clearance devices. Key daily tasks involve checking the lighting technology on main and auxiliary signals, and performing maintenance and repair work on control and safety components. You will also be tasked with controlling and parameterizing level crossing systems. Candidates must possess a completed vocational qualification in electrical engineering, such as an Electronics Technician for Operational or Automation Technology, or an Industrial Electrician. A Class B driving license is mandatory. Required Skills

Education

  • Qualification as a Signal Worker (desirable)
