Job Summary

This role is for an IT Support Technician providing essential 1st Level Client Support within an onsite team for a leading global technology company. The core responsibilities involve managing technical disruptions, processing inquiries, and maintaining end-user devices through installations, break/fix operations, and replacements. You will be responsible for supporting standard applications like MS Office and current Windows operating systems (7-10), ensuring all interactions and resolutions are meticulously documented within the ticketing system. Candidates must possess a completed technical vocational qualification and initial professional experience in IT support, coupled with foundational knowledge of networking, servers, Active Directory, and MS Office 365. This is a full-time, permanent position offering competitive, above-tariff compensation and the opportunity for long-term engagement with high potential for permanent takeover by the client. Flexibility to work across Düsseldorf and Cologne, along with readiness for occasional nationwide travel, is required.

Experience

  • Comparable professional experience following technical vocational training
  • Initial experience in IT support
  • Initial experience utilizing ticketing systems
  • Experience in PC hardware installation and troubleshooting
