Job Summary

This role is a crucial opportunity to contribute to the digital future and security of the German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr) by managing complex IT services. As a Senior Service Manager, you will be based in Bonn and responsible for ensuring the professional operation and continuous improvement of Application Management Services (AMS), primarily supporting SAP and Legacy systems. Day-to-day tasks include performance and KPI reporting, planning and steering service delivery in coordination with application owners, and ensuring adherence to defined IT Service Management (ITSM) processes, including Incident, Problem, and Change Management. The ideal candidate possesses a relevant university degree or equivalent knowledge, coupled with at least two years of professional experience in Application Management and IT-SM, deep expertise in application support for business applications, and strong skills in communication and conflict resolution. This position offers a secure, full-time, and permanent role focusing on socially relevant tasks within one of Germany's largest and most complex IT infrastructures.
