Job Summary

This role is for an experienced IT Specialist focusing on applications and infrastructure within a large public sector organization, offering a stable, permanent contract with excellent work-life balance benefits, including flexible hours and up to 60% mobile working. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the stable operation of critical IT systems, including the administration of central infrastructure components like Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP. Key duties involve managing the Microsoft 365 environment (Entra ID, Teams, Exchange Online), configuring and deploying Office 365 services (SharePoint, Power BI), and maintaining security solutions such as antivirus and email archiving tools. The position also requires active participation in IT projects related to system optimization and migration, and handling Incidents, Changes, and Service Requests following ITIL processes. Candidates must possess a degree in IT or equivalent vocational training and proven experience in Windows-based infrastructure administration and Microsoft 365 management.
