Job Summary

This critical part-time (50%) role, situated within the Audit Staff Unit of the Sigmaringen District Office, combines the responsibilities of a Data Protection Officer (DPO) with those of an Internal Auditor. As DPO, you will be the central point of contact for colleagues, citizens, and supervisory authorities regarding GDPR compliance, handling internal inquiries, managing the register of processing activities, and addressing reported data breaches. Concurrently, you will execute internal financial controls and risk-oriented audits across various departments of the district administration, ensuring sound budgetary and economic management. This position requires a high degree of flexibility, strong analytical skills to assess complex situations, and the ability to clearly articulate findings both orally and in writing. Candidates should possess a degree in Public Management or equivalent qualification, offering an opportunity for responsible, varied work with flexible hours and potential for remote work.
