Job Summary

This role offers an experienced Scientist the opportunity to join Roche Diagnostics GmbH in Penzberg, focusing on chemical safety and process optimization within a production environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for the entire experimental process, including independent planning, preparation, execution, and sophisticated analysis of chemically demanding experiments using complex equipment like calorimeters and reactor systems. A strong background in organic chemistry is essential, with duties involving the characterization of chemical processes using methods such as NMR, HPLC, and LC-MS. The core focus is on optimizing production processes for efficiency and safety, documenting results according to strict quality management guidelines (QM, TRGS/TRAS, DGUV), and presenting findings in risk analyses. This position requires deep theoretical and practical knowledge in organic and analytical chemistry, particularly calorimetric methods, and familiarity with technical regulations concerning plant safety and hazardous materials.
