Job Summary

As a Functional Safety Engineer, you will be crucial in guiding the software development team on safety-relevant topics, ensuring compliance with the ISO 26262 standard. Your daily tasks involve defining technical safety requirements, specifying the required system architecture, and rigorously checking concepts against regulatory norms. A core responsibility is identifying potential risks, initiating necessary corrective actions, and generating critical safety documentation, including FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) and comprehensive safety reports. This role demands a completed degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a similar field, combined with several years of professional experience in automotive safety utilizing ISO 26262. You should possess strong expertise in embedded software development within the automotive domain, ideally with knowledge of the AUTOSAR tool.
