Job Summary

This Scientist role focuses on the design verification of combination products, such as auto-injectors, within a highly regulated GMP environment. The primary responsibilities include the planning, execution, evaluation, and documentation of design verification testing using established electronic systems. Day-to-day tasks involve performing visual and functional tests, specifically force measurements on primary packaging and application systems using material testing equipment, alongside developing new test methods and transferring them to other departments. The position requires supporting the validation of test methods for subcutaneous application systems. A critical component is the statistical analysis and visualization of generated data, compiling comprehensive, GMP-compliant reports in English, and ensuring meticulous documentation following the four-eyes principle. Success in this role demands a systematic, conscientious approach, excellent communication skills in both German and English, and close collaboration with R&D teams across German and US locations.

Required Skills

Education

Degree in Engineering Sciences or comparable training (e.g., Physics, Pharmaceutical Technology, Packaging Technology, Biotechnology, Process Engineering, Plastics Technology, Materials Science, Materials Testing)

Experience

  • Experience in working within and meeting the requirements of the GMP environment
  • Professional experience in the independent planning, execution, and evaluation of experiments/tests
  • Professional experience in the independent creation of reports and presentations in English
