Job Summary

The Flensburg University of Applied Sciences is seeking a Project Associate to join the 'RobOdin' Interreg project, focusing on developing humanoid robots that assist in industry and daily life by combining cutting-edge robotics with AI expertise. The role involves hands-on technical work, including setting up and maintaining simulated environments (e.g., classrooms, warehouses) on a Physical AI platform and creating an interactive robot model for developing AI algorithms in these simulations. Key responsibilities also include integrating virtual components into a modular software architecture, conducting virtual function tests, and performing error analysis. The successful candidate will be expected to publish research results in scientific journals and conferences, coordinate technically with project partners, and meticulously document development work. This full-time, fixed-term position until September 2028 requires a university degree in Computer Science or a related field, advanced knowledge of Machine Learning methods, and proficiency in Python, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to making the region a hotspot for humanoid robotics.
