Job Summary

This role involves managing and executing civil engineering projects within the Technical Services and Urban Development Department of the City of Weißenfels. The technician will primarily handle road construction, civil engineering, structural engineering, flood protection, and drainage measures on public roads and squares. Key responsibilities include acting as the client representative, participating in concept development, calculating initial cost estimates, reviewing designs, and managing project timelines and budgets. The successful candidate must possess a qualification as a State-Certified Technician in Civil Engineering or a related field, coupled with practical experience in public administration, procurement law (VOL/VOB/HOAI/VgV), and managing public funding applications.
