Job Summary

This role involves taking on significant responsibilities within the Civil Engineering Department of the City of Weißenfels, focusing on road construction, civil engineering, structural engineering, and drainage projects for public roads, paths, and squares. A core focus is on conceptual road construction for new developments, including creating concepts, conducting economic feasibility studies, and determining rough cost estimates. The engineer acts as the client's representative, reviewing designs, leading planning and construction meetings, and managing projects to ensure adherence to timelines and budgets. Key qualifications include a degree in Civil Engineering or a comparable field, expertise in public administration, and strong knowledge of procurement law (VOL/VOB/HOAI/VgV) and state road laws.
