This role serves as the critical interface between Product Development and Production, ensuring the seamless transition of designs into manufacturing, particularly within the Inertial Navigation product lines. The Process Development Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and improving existing product lines, including service and repair processes. Key daily tasks involve collaborating closely with System Engineers to analyze root causes of failures and define robust solutions. A significant focus will be placed on identifying opportunities for improvement and automation of manufacturing processes, especially in assembly and connection technology. Success requires a university degree in a relevant engineering field, initial professional experience in manufacturing, and proficiency in quality assurance methods and utilizing IT tools for interpreting production metrics. The position demands a highly structured, analytical, and solution-oriented approach, coupled with strong communication skills to drive process optimization.
