Job Summary

This role is for a Research Associate and HPC System Software Engineer focused on enhancing the energy efficiency and performance of High-Performance Computing (HPC) systems within the NHR network at TUD Dresden. The successful candidate will conduct scientific research and develop tools for efficient HPC system operation, focusing on data-driven and AI-based optimizations. Day-to-day tasks involve collecting requirements, designing and establishing a modern software development platform (CI/CD, integration testing), and collaborating with international partners. Key requirements include a university degree in computer science or a related field, strong knowledge of distributed systems and Linux, and proficiency in C++ or Python.
