Job Summary

This Senior Robotics AI Engineer role focuses on advancing embodied intelligence within the automotive sector by tailoring and deploying cutting-edge robotic foundation models. The core responsibility involves expanding the capabilities of vision-language-action, world, and reasoning models to enable the next wave of robotics systems for the BMW Group. Day-to-day tasks include creating advanced AI approaches for general-purpose robotics, training and deploying complex models, and building scalable data and training pipelines that unify data from robot fleets, simulation, and synthetic sources. Candidates must bring 5+ years of experience in robotics or applied Machine Learning with production deployments, deep expertise in foundation models (multimodal, diffusion, RLHF), and strong programming skills in Python and C++.
