Job Summary

This role is ideal for an IT professional specializing in network infrastructure setup and maintenance, working for a leading international IT service provider. Day-to-day responsibilities include the professional assembly and mechanical fastening of network devices in racks, comprehensive cable management, and the installation of firmware and operating systems. The technician will also perform basic network configurations (like VLANs and SSH), implement project-specific configuration files, manage IP addresses and licenses, and integrate network components into monitoring and management systems (such as PRTG or Icinga). Key requirements include a completed IT apprenticeship or substantial recent IT experience, along with proven expertise in rack installation, cabling, and 2nd Level Support.
