Job Summary
This role is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to join a company specializing in the manufacturing and maintenance of critical components for civil and military aviation technology. The Quality Inspector will be responsible for conducting crucial Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) procedures, primarily using ultrasonic testing (UT) with both immersion and contact techniques. Key daily tasks include inspecting engine components for visible deviations and damages before and after processing, analyzing UT results using A-, C-, and D-scans, and documenting all deviations according to internal quality standards. Candidates should possess a relevant technical qualification (such as Materials Tester or Industrial Mechanic), strong German language skills, good English proficiency, and ideally hold UT Level 1 or 2 NDT certificates. This position requires a commitment to shift work and strong team collaboration skills.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as a Materials Tester, Industrial Mechanic, Precision Mechanic, or comparable qualification. NDT certificates in UT Level 1 or 2 are advantageous.
Experience
- Professional experience in materials testing or mechanical trades (implied by required qualifications)
- Experience in inspecting and assessing engine components based on NDT guidelines
