Job Summary

This role is for a Project Engineer specializing in High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) Control Systems, focusing on the full lifecycle management of critical control infrastructure. Key responsibilities involve the project planning, configuration, and maintenance of Human-Machine Interface (HMI) and SCADA systems, including managing signal databases and communication gateways. The engineer will be tasked with creating and updating technical specifications, manuals, and signal lists, while coordinating closely with internal interfaces, customers, and suppliers. A significant part of the job involves configuring central data gateways, protocol converters, and supporting the system integration and commissioning of components in test setups, ensuring flawless communication and functionality. Candidates must possess a degree or vocational training in Electrical Engineering or Automation Technology, paired with practical experience in HMI/SCADA project planning (ideally Zenon or ipConf) and strong knowledge of control system protocols such as IEC61850 and IEC104. Required Skills

Education

Completed degree or vocational training in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Power Engineering, or Automation Technology.

Experience

  • Knowledge and experience in control system protocols and signal processing
  • Professional experience in project execution and customer clarification processes
  • Experience working in complex, interdisciplinary teams
