Job Summary

This role is seeking an Electrical Engineer, ideally specializing in Electrical Engineering or Energy Technology, to join a strong team in Cottbus. The core responsibilities involve complex technical and economic challenges related to network infrastructure. Day-to-day tasks include conducting short-circuit and load flow calculations using the PowerFactory network calculation software, performing grid connection assessments for generation facilities (EEG), and verifying protection settings. The engineer will also be responsible for determining the most economically advantageous connection points, planning necessary network expansion, and calculating the transmission capacities of equipment within substations and the medium voltage network. This position requires a passion for improvement, strong communication skills to inspire others, and the ability to handle customer inquiries and update technical assessment tables, offering an opportunity to work on exciting, long-term projects with flexible hours.
