Job Summary

The BFI Group is seeking an Electrical Engineer or PLC Mechatronics Technician to join their team in Obermichelbach. This role is crucial for advancing and programming PLC controls (including systems like Wieland, Siemens, etc.), creating technical documentation and circuit diagrams using EPLAN, and leading the electrical manufacturing process. Day-to-day tasks involve commissioning pneumatic presses, electrical controls, and specialized machinery, conducting training for internal and external staff, and ensuring compliance with key directives such as the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC and DIN EN ISO 12100. The ideal candidate holds a qualification as an Electrical Master or certified Electrical Technician, possesses strong knowledge in control engineering, pneumatics, and hydraulics, and is comfortable with domestic and international service assignments.
