Job Summary

This role involves supporting the commissioning of railway control systems, ensuring compliance with customer specifications, quality standards, and internal testing regulations, working closely with the commissioning engineer. Day-to-day tasks include performing measurements and conformity checks on outdoor signaling and control (LST) systems, identifying and documenting visual and mechanical defects, and independently rectifying faults in components or cabling. The ideal candidate must have a minimum two-year electrical engineering qualification, possess a conscientious and structured work ethic, and demonstrate high willingness to travel for client commissioning projects. Routine handling of PCs and network components is required, and knowledge of railway technology, especially signaling and control systems, is a plus, making this an excellent opportunity to apply technical skills in a safety-critical industry with the benefit of an unlimited permanent contract and attractive benefits.
