Job Summary
This role involves supporting the Finance Department of the Rotenburg (Wümme) district administration, focusing heavily on developing and implementing the controlling function. Day-to-day tasks include performing variance analyses, evaluating results, and proposing countermeasures. The officer will be actively involved in preparing the budget plan, managing budget execution, and ensuring compliance with budgetary regulations. A key responsibility is preparing individual balance sheet items for the annual financial statements and independently reviewing transactions. The role also requires managing the financial software (Infoma) alongside colleagues, setting up product budgets, monitoring transactions, and advising departmental booking staff. Candidates must possess strong analytical skills, expertise in budgetary law, cost accounting, and controlling, and proficiency in MS Office products, especially Excel and Word. Education
Eligibility for the first entry level of Career Group 2, General Services, combined with an administrative or legal science degree, OR successfully completed Angestelltenlehrgang II (Employee Course II)
Experience
- Knowledge in budgetary law, cost accounting, and controlling
- Professional experience in a municipal administration (desirable)
- Knowledge of the financial software Infoma (desirable)
