Job Summary

This is an opportunity to join Roche Diagnostics GmbH in Penzberg, initially through a staffing agency, as a highly skilled Mass Spectrometry Scientist. The role is integral to an interdisciplinary team dedicated to applying and developing mass spectrometry-supported methods for proteinogenic reagents used in diagnostic tests. Key responsibilities include developing advanced analytical procedures for the structural analysis of proteins within challenging matrices, such as human body fluids. You will optimize and maintain instrumental-analytical procedures, primarily (U)HPLC-MS(/MS) methods and associated sample preparation workflows. The position requires independent planning and execution of technical projects, leading small teams, coordinating work packages across stakeholders, and presenting results. Success requires deep expertise in LC-MS/MS workflows, data analysis, and a strong background in analytical chemistry, coupled with fluency in both German and English.
