Job Summary

This role involves working at the critical interface of research and production within the Raw Material Development Protein Chemistry department, focusing on developing protein-based raw materials for diagnostic tests, primarily for the Elecsys platform. The Scientist will be responsible for researching, developing, optimizing, and validating production-ready processes for manufacturing and analyzing immunological reagents, such as specialized antibody and antigen conjugates. Key activities include utilizing state-of-the-art chromatographic methods and established biochemical, physicochemical, and immunological analytics for protein characterization. The position requires taking technical responsibility for lab technicians, acting as a subject matter expert for project partners, and ensuring processes comply with highly regulated in-vitro diagnostics (IVDs) standards.
