Job Summary
This role involves executing critical thermal vacuum (TVAC) and calibration & characterization (C&C) test campaigns, often in shifts, for aerospace components. The engineer will be responsible for maintaining and improving test procedures, critically assessing results, and analyzing events to identify root causes and pragmatic solutions under time pressure. Collaboration with project teams is key to developing optimal test strategies regarding quality, time, and cost. Additionally, the role includes participating in non-conformance investigations while adhering to company quality standards. This is an exciting opportunity to work with Airbus Defence and Space on innovative projects, offering a permanent contract and potential for direct takeover by the client.
Required Skills
Education
Completed studies in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace, Embedded Systems, or a comparable qualification
Experience
- More than two years of professional experience in engineering and aerospace
- Experience in working with space standards (ECSS) and in testing is a plus
- Experience working with a central checkout system including SCOS2k databases and CCSDS/Packet Utilization Standard is a plus
- Experience with telecommands and telemetry management is a plus

- Willingness to work in shifts over several months
