Job Summary

This role seeks a Senior Permitting Manager specializing in Grid Expansion to oversee the planning and execution of complex authorization procedures, particularly those related to the Network Expansion Acceleration Act (NABEG). The successful candidate will manage project control throughout the planning and construction phases, ensuring strict adherence to quality, schedule, and cost targets. Key responsibilities include coordinating large, interdisciplinary project teams, engaging in high-stakes negotiations with authorities and stakeholders, and managing project risks and problem resolution within the permitting process. Candidates must possess a degree in Civil Engineering or a comparable field, coupled with several years of experience in complex large-scale projects and proven leadership in linear infrastructure, such as underground cable or overhead line projects. Experience in developing and implementing robust project structures, reporting, and risk management processes is essential.
