Job Summary

The Macro Research Analyst will join Deutsche Bank Research, collaborating closely with approximately 300 economists and analysts globally to provide sophisticated macroeconomic and geopolitical analysis for Germany and the world. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing in-depth reports and presentations that reach key stakeholders in business, finance, and politics, and advising important clients and internal stakeholders on economic policy issues. The ideal candidate must possess a strong academic background, including a Master's degree (ideally a doctorate) in Economics or Political Science, coupled with a minimum of five years of professional experience as an economist at a central bank, research institute, or think tank. The role requires excellent communication skills in both German and English, strong empirical analysis capabilities, and experience utilizing AI applications in research, making this an attractive position for experienced macroeconomists seeking high-impact advisory work.
