Job Summary

This role involves managing complex projects within the special plant construction sector, specifically focusing on glass product manufacturing and processing facilities, including associated infrastructure. The Project Engineer will be responsible for the entire lifecycle, from drafting technical specifications and requirement profiles (Lastenhefte) to managing procurement, supervising external manufacturing, and conducting final acceptance testing. Key daily tasks include designing machine controls and drive technologies, creating and maintaining ECAD plans (specifically EPLAN P8), coordinating installation and commissioning, and managing suppliers and fitters. Candidates must possess a degree or equivalent technical qualification in Electrical Engineering, multi-year professional experience, and strong knowledge of relevant technical rules and regulations. Proficiency in German (Fluent) and basic English is required, alongside expertise in MS Office, SAP-EAM, and EPLAN P8.
