Job Summary
The University of Cologne is seeking a Professor for Machine Learning to expand its research portfolio within the Department of Computer Science. This role focuses on advancing fundamental theories, algorithms, and principles of machine learning, rather than just applying existing techniques. The ideal candidate will conduct research in areas such as Deep Learning, Foundation Models, Reinforcement Learning, and Causal Inference, among others.
